If you enter your password for the registered nick into the password line, kiwi will identify with NickServ for you. Setting up the network is fairly simple and will be remembered on the computer you are using for next time. Since kiwi is web-based there's no download & installation needed. We advise you do not use it until this has been fixed. * Currently this version is problematic, as it relays your connection details in a manner that may get you disconnected. Once you've done all this, the next time you open AndroIRC, it should connect you to the server and join the channel automatically - you don't have to do anything. The non-SSL link may be needed if you use Firefox. If you do not do this, AndroIRC will continue to run in the background.
Then tap the menu button again and select Exit.
To leave the chat, tap the menu button, then select Disconnect. You will see some text go by as it connects, and then Yay for Queers will open automatically. Tap the menu button, then select Connect. Tap the back button until you're back at the AndroIRC main screen. Make sure "Auto-join this channel" is enabled. Select Channel name and type #yayforqueers, then tap OK. Tap the menu button, then select Add a channel. Tap the back button again, then select Channels, then select Blitzed. The server info should be saved automatically. Enable both "Auto-connect" and "Auto-join channels". (You can always change your nickname later.) Then tap OK. Tap the menu button again, and select New server. Open AndroIRC, then tap the menu button and select Settings. Once you've done all this, the next time you open Adium, it should connect you to the server and join the channel automatically - you don't have to do anything. Select File -> Join Group Chat and type the chat name as #yayforqueers. Check the boxes for "show 5 recent messages in new chats", "reopen chats from last time on startup", and "create new chats in tabs". Fill in the Profile section with whatever you want it to say, or leave it blank. Check the "Connect when Adium opens" box. Choose Preferences from the Adium menu. Close the window by clicking the X button in the title bar. If you just installed Adium, a setup assistant will open when you run it for the first time. Once it finishes connecting, you should join the channel automatically. You should see the client connecting to the server - a bunch of text will scroll past. In the HexChat: Network List window, check the box at the bottom that says "Skip server list on startup.". Type #yayforqueers - that should replace the text. You should see the word #channel appear in the Channel list at the top.
Click the Autojoin Channels tab, just above the check boxes. Check the following boxes (the others should be unchecked):. At the top, click where it says newserver/6667 and type - again, that should replace the text. A new window will pop up that says HexChat: Edit Blitzed. Click on New Network and type Blitzed - that should replace the text. You should see the words New Network appear in the Networks list. (If it doesn't, press Ctrl S in the main HexChat window to bring it up.) When you open HexChat for the first time, the Network List should pop up.
