On a side note, I did not notice any type of strong chemical smell. In the meantime I now have to haul my laundry to the laundromat. I have the maintenance repairman coming over to look at the washer in a few days. I contacted my manager and he said the washer is new so this had to have been from the tide cleaning product somehow. There is now some sort of gross debris floating around in the water each time it fills up. So I filled the washer again with plain hot water and after it started agitating I opened the lid and was horrified what I found. Instead there was a bunch of gritty debris left in the bottom of the tub. When the cycle was completed I opened the lid expecting to find a shiny clean tub. I followed the directions on the package and poured the powdered cleaner directly into the tub and set it for normal/hot cycle. I just moved into an apartment that had a washer and dryer in the unit but I noticed it had a musty smell. **Photos uploaded**I received my Tide Washing Machine cleaner yesterday and was excited to try it.
